1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of ANASK, a city discovery platform beginning in Nnewi. By accessing ANASK, creating an account, submitting a listing, review, claim, report or other content, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use ANASK.
2. ANASK is a discovery platform
ANASK helps people discover local businesses, places, updates, opportunities and transport connections in participating cities, beginning in Nnewi. It does not sell the goods or services shown in listings, act as an agent for a listed person, handle ride payments, or guarantee the availability, quality, safety, legality or accuracy of a listing or ride. A Verified badge means ANASK has completed the level of verification described at the time; it is not an endorsement, warranty or recommendation.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate, current information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may use ANASK only if you can lawfully agree to these Terms. Do not create accounts using false identities, impersonate others, or use automated means to access or collect data without permission.
4. Listings, claims and content
You may submit a listing only where you have authority to do so. You must provide truthful, lawful, non-misleading and up-to-date information, and have all permissions needed for photos, logos, contact details, Facebook Page links and other material. Listing descriptions, photos, location, opening information and public contact or social links may appear publicly and in search engines. ANASK may review, request evidence for, edit for formatting, reject, suspend, remove or correct any submission. A listing may not be published until approved. Submitting a claim does not itself transfer ownership.
5. Reviews and reports
Reviews and star ratings are published immediately so the directory remains useful in real time. They must reflect genuine first-hand experiences and must not be fabricated, paid for without clear disclosure, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, unlawful or intended to manipulate ratings. Reports must be made in good faith. ANASK may investigate, moderate or remove content after publication where necessary.
6. Listing-removal requests and landmarks
A listing owner may ask ANASK to remove a listing. ANASK reviews each request before acting. ANASK may decline a request where a listing remains an important local landmark, navigation reference, public-interest record or is needed for safety, fraud prevention or a legal obligation. When ANASK approves removal, the listing is permanently removed from public directory pages, subject to limited records or evidence that ANASK must retain for a lawful safety, fraud, dispute or legal purpose.
7. Prohibited use
You must not upload malicious code; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; harvest contact data for spam; post unlawful, abusive, explicit or deceptive material; interfere with the service; bypass security; or use ANASK for fraud. We may suspend or terminate access and preserve or disclose information where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect people, enforce these Terms or comply with law.
8. Third-party links and ANASK Rides
A Facebook Page, website, phone number, WhatsApp link or ride connection may take you to a third party. That third party is responsible for its own service and privacy practices. Riders, passengers and drivers are responsible for their own decisions and communications; use reasonable safety precautions and report safety concerns through ANASK where available.
9. Intellectual property
ANASK, its branding, software and original content belong to Anaedo Technologies or its licensors. You retain rights in content you submit, but grant ANASK a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt for formatting, display and distribute that content in connection with operating, promoting and improving the directory. You confirm you have the right to grant this licence.
10. Availability, liability and changes
ANASK is provided on an ‘as available’ basis. To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, ANASK disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these Terms and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the directory or dealings with a listed party. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may change ANASK or these Terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
